Looking at the summer photos one could see many coats and sweatshirts throughout. It was cool summer in Milwaukee and now this October we are running ten degrees below normal so it looks as if it will continue till who knows when. We did however luck out big time with the weather when we were up there in mid June. See you in January.

We were in camp Sept. 19-25. Sunny and 75 everyday, unbelievable! Walleye bite was tough, but not so bad that we couldn’t eat fish for dinner 4 times. Smallmouth were great. We like to go late in the season for the cool weather, not this year. When the lake cools the walleye head into the river and you can really nail them. Same time next year.
Hey Rick, I would like to try the late season at some point. Maybe in a couple of years once my son graduates from high school.
Sharon, I just got the brochure and it looks awesome. I didn’t know you had an addition to the family. Who is this Buster character? I’m bring up pig ears next year for the kids.
Richard
Hey Richard…late season is alot of fun. September is big fish and good numbers. Perch are more plentiful too. Plus we do more lake trout fishing then too. That is a bonus and alot of fun. This past September we had a group come up and we had a hard time catching walleye under 18″ to take home. They were all too big.
We were coming back from a shorelunch at the waterfalls and stopped by Moose Bay and hooked into this monster Muskie that tore a hole in my big net. I’m gonna be shopping for an extra tough net this winter.
I am still having a hard time with the lose of my precious Booker. I miss him so much. The new little guy joined the family in late July. I named him Buster. They all love pig ears and it is much better for them then raw hide. All Coco does his hide all the raw hides and then is ugly when anyone goes near them. When I find them I put them where she can’t find them. Anyway.. Buster is great. Each of our kids have had their own nitch. I haven’t figured out Busters’ yet but it is great working with him. He’s a sweetheart.
You need to go to our Lodging & Facilities and then Cabin & Facilities link on the website and check out the video clip I did. I painted the whole camp and then put on a couple more metal roofs.

Wow!! Awesome!! Best outdoors site on the web. The whole camp is shown in great detail. Like what you did to #4 and now all that is needed is to move that shower bathroom cabin closer to the campers. It would make everything perfect. See you in January.
