Dinorwic Lake Fishing Report Week 1
Opening weekend weather was wet and cool.
Air temps were in the 50′s with winds from the east and north.
Water temp range from 55 to 61 degrees.
Fishing overall above average.
Several slot northern caught and many just under the slot.
Nice Walleye Opening Weekend
Walleyes were plentiful for eater size and a high number of walleye over 18” caught and released. Catches of 50-60 fish a day were reported which is great despite the weather conditions.
Small mouth bass are on their way to spawning beds. A few 4-5 pounders were caught and released.
A few perch were caught with the walleye.
Lake trout were caught on near by lakes as well.
Muskie is not open.
